I firmly believe, Quins-mum, that what goes around comes around. Whoever is responsible will have to take what comes around...if not in this life, then after. And the dog is safe from him now.

that they catch the guy and put him away. He's a danger to society.

Frenchy, you were smart not to read it. But take our word for it---it's sooo sad.

I am a firm believer that what ever pain you cause an innocent animal should be bestowed upon you
What sort of sick person could do such a thing:sad:

I did read it and it is so disgusting - and upsetting!! It makes me wonder about the kind of human who would do such a thing!! Especially the long term part - this was not the quick thought of someone but someone clearly deranged and cruel!

I read all your posts & that was enough for me, feeling a bit down anyway, don't want to be thrown over the edge, so I won't read.

All I read was the headline...but that was enough.

We had a dog once that was hanged, but rescued before she died. She had a big wound going around her neck. She turned out okay though, not like the dog in this story.

Apparently in some countries this is a common way of "disposing of" hunting dogs that are not up to their owner's standards.

If the story is about hanging dogs,it is common practise in many parts of the world especially with huntingdogs and Grey Hounds:sad:
Out of all the living beeing on this earth, the humans are the most evil,no doubt about it

We all know how cruel some people can be, but when I hear of children being cruel to an animal, I wring my hands & worry, the future generation, the future parents (teaching their children).

My eldest is mr. natureboy, loves animals & nature, about 7 years ago he noticed a bird's nest in a bush at school (he was 10), he looked & covered it but the local cop's (I'm Ireland & their called Guards & but I'll call him a cop here) child spotted my lad looking in the bush, being a serial bully, he took out the eggs & gave 2 to each of his bully friends, then he gave 1 to my chap & ordered them all to break them, my chap said no way & put it back in the nest.

They broke the eggs & when I went up to complain (without mentioning names, as they're only chaps) I was told that bird's eggs were not important.

But where do bird's eggs stop & knifing your brother begin? It's all related

Flynn,I agree 100%,my sons were brought up with animals and I always tried to teach them, every life counts whether it be a butterfly, bird or a domestic animal.
They've to my knowledge never hurt an animal, even the tiniest spider, they know mom would kill them...mind you, they are now grown men,but still feel the same towards animals.

My goodness, I don't even want to read that article, but I gather it involves a human who should be hung by their shorthairs. I have realized that I can't deal with reading about cruelty to animals in any way. I sometimes watch the show on Animal Planet, about the ASPCA in different states, but I find myself changing the channel often. I can't understand how a person can be so cruel to an animal!

I just couldn't bring myself to read it cause I know I'd cry too, however I get the gist of the article. I will never understand how people can be cruel to our furry little friends, all they do is love us. He'll get his, but not soon enough for me!
