Any chance you could just hang onto her inside till a place opens up with a rescue? It's hard, I know, cuz if you can't, you can't. But keep in mind that if you do have to release her, she's at least way better off than she was before and she can still come back to you for food!

that something opens up or that you find someone suitable who needs a kitty to love!

Oh no Jim, that's not cruel . The person(s) responsible for her being outdoors without a home is the cruel one....cruel to both the kitty and to you for having to clean up their mess.

Jim, I totally understand how you feel. You have done a lot to help her. I know if you could, you would keep her inside. I think helping find her a wonderful home would be the best thing you can do. In the meantime, showing her that being around someone and being petted is a wonderful thing too, because it will help her once she's in her new home.

Aww, Jim, my heart goes out to you ......you're between a rock and a hard place but DU does come first.

I hope someone realizes what a sweet pretty girl Mama Miow is and that you are able to find the perfect home for her quickly.

Amen LP...I have read soooooooooooo many posts on this board of people moving heaven and earth to care for and tend to all these poor stray/feral cats/kittens and then expressing guilt when they finally have no more room.

The only people who should be feeling guilt are the heartless SOBs who let them out in the first place because they shed/don't match the furniture/aren't cute anymore/moved/or misunderstood that they DO NOT like being outside cats

Jim,you are showing this little girl, that humans can be good,I wish I could do the same with my stray:sad:
However,I could never take in a mature cat with my boys,it would totally upset the sort of harmony we have now.
My Chico suffered when I took in Vinnie,Chico and Rocky used to be great buddies, even sleep and cuddle together, but that all stopped when Vinnie came,so I totally understand

Jim, let the others have said showing the kitty that humans can give love is a wonderful gift.

does she have a little cat house/ shelter outside that she could go to after she heals until she gets a forever home? Where she would be close to you and still get lovins and food when u are outside?

Debbie

Geezz Jim, thanks for my daily cry! You do so much for those stray kitties around your place. No one else seems to care. Momma Miow is so lucky to have crossed your path. You probably have saved her life. At least you have stopped her churning out more babies two, three times a year. Please don't feel guilty.
