Family member looking to adopt

Hi guys,

My cousin is looking to adopt a puppy or young female huskey mix mid size. So far she has had no luck has filled our 3 different applications for pups but the dogs got adopted out.

She has been to see several dogs in shelters but for one reason or another they were not suited for her family. She is being very thourgh and does not want to jump into this by making a hasty decision. She does have a cat and 2 children ages 7 and 10 who are used to dogs they have been voluntering at their local shelter for the past year so this kids understand the responsibility of having a pet.

She is in the Peterbourgh area but will travel to meet a potential dog. So if anyone out their knows of anything it would be most helpfull.

Maybe if they could arrange transport? I know that is done sometimes with rescues to move dogs from one province to another. It's worth a shot.
And Toonces - - it is so nice to see you here!! I hope things are going well for you.
