Cellulitis?

Hi
Our German Shepherd is 7 years old.
He's got a pretty bad case of cellulitis. The area around his stomach is terribly swollen.
We're running him on antibiotics but there seems to be no improvement.
Any suggestions?
Any specific treatments?
Any signs or symptoms we should be looking for?
Also-how dangerous is it?
Any help is much appreciated,thanks.

Does your vet think there is an abscess? I think if you've had him on antibiotics for a few days and there isn't any improvement, it's a good idea to at least call the vet and see what the next course of action is. And yes, cellulitis can be dangerous, so you want to stay on top of it!

Hope he's feeling much better soon!

The antibiotic might not be the right one?

Actually, the vet now reckons there's a mix of fluid and blood in his stomach.
And that his liver might be bleeding.Sent us back home with more tablets.
Thank you for the hope.
