Waggin Train Brand Duck Jerky Tenders from Costco

Anyone have any experience with the above? I bought them yesterday at Costco and discovered this morning that the Waggin Train Brand Chicken Jerky Tenders were under investigation in the US and Australia for complaints about dogs getting sick. The treats are made in China NOT the US as the package leads us to believe. The Made in China is in very tiny print and in French. www.dogaware.com had it on their website.
I just emailed the company confirming where the product is made and asked if the product is under investigation by the FDA.
BTW I found this out when I was searching for kidney disease for Nigel. Thank goodness Nigel posted the question is all I can say.

Buying a bag of treats from Cosco....what do you expect? You think they're going to carry high-end stuff made from reputable USA/Canadian businesses? Nope - you get what you pay for.
