LOVE those pics!!! Just amazing, especially the one where they're running together (toward the camera).
![]() Be careful bringing the camera in from outside though eh? ![]() |

at what temps is it considered "unsafe" to bring a camera outside? guess i should ask these questions before i go do something stupid and break the thing, LOL! it was about -8 or so?... no wind though.
(oh and i found out that when you have sunshine coming through trees that give off shadows, and in the photo you have a white dog against the white snow, and a darker dog, and a man dressed in black from head to foot... if you don't know what you're doing - and i don't know frigg-all yet - then the resulting photos are *****! ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's more about the humidity when you bring it back in. It can permanently damage the lens.
![]() All you have to do is leave a thick, new (no holes) bag, like a milk bag, outside and before you come in, you grab some cold air in the bag, put the camera in and knot it really tightly. That way the camera heats up to room temp without the humidity attacking it. Once it's warm (takes hours and hours if body components are metal), then you can take it out of the bag safely. ![]() |

Thanks for that tip Prin. I haven't taken my new camera outside yet but that is something I must remember when I do.
