Unhappy In Memory of Beloved Zorba I love you mommy

A Dog's Prayer
Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.
Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.
Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.
When it is cold and wet, please take me inside... for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements... and I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth... though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land... for you are my god... and I am your devoted worshiper.
Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food, that I may stay healthy, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.
And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest...and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.

pbpatti - if you highlight it like you are going to copy it, it will show in black and be easier to read.

Sorry for your loss, minmin12.

Unhappy Thank you

To my dearest family,
some things I’d like to say.
But first of all, to let you know
that I arrived okay.
I’m writing this from the Bridge.
Here I will dwell with God above.
Here there’s no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I’m out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, “I welcome you.
It’s good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They’ll be here later on”.
God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night
the day’s chores put to flight,
god and I are closest to you…
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there were some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you,
you wouldn’t understand.

But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is over.
I’m closer to you now,
than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I’d like it for you too;
that as you give unto the world,
the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
who’s in pain;
then you can say to God at night
“My day was not in vain”.
And now I am contented…
that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along
God says: "If you meet somebody
who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up,
as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street
with me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind."
"And when it's time for you to go...
from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...
you're coming here to me."

“My day was not in vain”.
And now I am contented…
that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along
God says: "If you meet somebody
who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up,
as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street
with me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind."
"And when it's time for you to go...
from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going...
you're coming here to me."

There is not one day that goes by still have huge emptiness. As I type this tears begin to swell in my eyes. It has been one month but yet I am unable to stop the tears. I thank all of you for your kind words

Smile How lucky

I found surveillance video of Zorba and his brother Harley. By the gift of G-d himself these were saved. They should have not been program was to delete, so now I could watch 4 videos of my Beloved Zorba walking around backyard. I had tears of joy now I watch and a miracle right before my eyes is there. Nothing in this world could make me more happier than having him to see when ever I want
