Menadione has only been banned for human use in European countries, Many Vitamin supplements still use this form of Vitamin K.
The body naturally produces enzymes through the pancreas, but if you wish to supplement ( as many of us do to give the body a break) , you could use a human digestive enzyme with protease, lipase, cellulose etc, or you can purchase www.prozyme.com

Menadione was removed from most of the premium/holistic dog foods after consumer pressure. A lot of the cat foods still have it though. Orijen is one of the brands that doesn't use it and it is an excellent food....

If your cat likes carrots and other veggies as treats that's fine.
