Cat won't stop spraying

Hi,
My cat has never sprayed before, he is a male and has been fixed since he was a baby. We got a second cat 15 months ago. My cat just started almost a year later we got the second one, he started spraying. I have done all the tricks of using Feliway spray, cleaning with pheromone cleaner, putting a litter box near where we sprays. They each have there own little box , clean it like every day. Last resort he is on pills, been 3 months and he still sprays. He is spraying a little bit less, but he still sprays and i am at the end of my wits!!!!
Does anyone have any other ideas!

Sorry, but you've basically tried everything. Is he spraying in the litterbox, or just all over the place? It's unusual for cats to spray after being neutered, especially at a young age.

Well he is six yrs old.. he just started spraying... He does pee in his litter box. But I see him sometimes, spray my bay window.. He doesn't pee, but sprays a couple of drops...he spray a mirror I have at the front door. He just does it for the heck of it.. Yes there are some cats outside but it has never bothered him before. I am not sure what to do anymore!!!!

Thanks god he is fixed, i read that it smells when they are not fixed, but still i have to clean all the time and in the long run it will smell if he keeps doing this for years at same spot.

It's frustrating, for sure, but your cat is not just doing it "for the heck of it". There's always a reason when cats start spraying, it just might not be that obvious to us. For starters, cats are very territorial, even when they're neutered. Some more so than others. While your newer cat and the outdoor cats might not have been an issue in the past, for whatever reason they are now. Something isn't right in your little guy's world. Even if you can't figure out what that might be, there are things you can try to ease his stress. Keeping a regular routine (cats love predictability), lots of play therapy, increasing his vertical space with a couple of tall cat trees can all help. With the Feliway spray, have you tried spraying it directly on the spots that he's marked (after cleaning them)? Also, maybe the Feliway diffuser would be more effective than the spray. Is it possible to keep the drapes on the bay window closed so he can't see the cats outside?
