The Homeless 5 Thank Yous

A BIG BIG thank you goes out to LuckyRescue who was my contact to the leads placing the homeless 5!

Thank you LR for having put up the posters around St.Lazare late last year; thank you for following up with the thread Homeless in Winter. Thank you for keeping the homeless 5 in mind when the opportunity presented itself. I know you did much more than I coul dhave ever done myself.

Thank you also to cpietra who was willing to home Charlie, Puma and Tiger. Though I'm glad you were available for the two sisters who have proven so hard to place, I'm sorry I missed your availability by a few weeks. You were so perfect with your background in feral cats and TNR in BC.

Thank you Rottielover for the possibility of opening your home to Tiger. I wish it could have been. Thank you for trying.

Thank you Poodletalk for your ongoing support. Your support and help has really helped. You made me feel as though this was as much your probem as it was my own.

Thank you chico2 for your support and concern. I wish I could send you Tiger by Westjet!

It's not over yet. I have another three weeks before I trap and move them. But thank you to everyone who has contributed to helping these cats find a home. I wish they could have retired by the foot of someone's bed but I guess it's not in their fate.

Without Lucky Rescue, I would have had to either euthanize them or abandon them within a year. I can't imagine having done either.

CS I would never have let you PTS perfectly healthy cats...you do know that no matter what I would have taken all of them and dealt with the limited space...I might still do it if you can't board them...

C-S,I wish I could have offered more than moral support, these kitties were always on my mind since the first day you introduced them.
All cats/dogs deserve to sleep at the foot of someones bed,but the alternative(thank's to Lucky!)is also a good thing,at least they have each other, they never really knew what being in house is all about.
for doing what you have for them:love:
