Paper Towel & Cats

My cat Chloe ate some paper towel in the early am yesterday. She has thrown up a few times and it contains paper towel (that's how we know). She hasn't really been eating - is drinking a little. She's purring and playing a little, but seems pretty quiet.

Has this happened to anyone? Will she digest it or should we take her to the vet? It's been at least 24 hours since she ate it.

When she throws up, it's all paper towel. She must have thrown up almost an entire sheet of it now.

How much did she eat? Honestly, I'd take her to the vet. One of our dogs stripped all the paper off a roll of toilet paper, which dissolves much better than paper towel, and there was a danger of blockage. If your cat isn't back to normal, I'd get a vet's opinion on it. It's very important that a cat eats or she'll get dangerously ill, so I wouldn't wait to contact the vet.

I'd also want to know if she's pooping (and if she has not pooped in the past 24 hours or more vet visit for sure)
....but I'm with HRP here - vet visit is safest and is what i would be doing if this were my cat.
For SURE, I'd at least call my vet.
Good luck!
