Switching cat foods?
I know it isn't good to keep switching a dogs food from one brand to another, but can you switch a cats food, like twice a week, without hurting the cat? Hazel gets Wellness, and theres only one flavor she will eat. She has medical problems, so getting her to eat is important, cause she is thin. She gets bored with the Wellness, and by accident I found out she loves Fancy Feast, any flavor. Would it be okay to give her the Wellness for maybe two days, and switch to Fancy Feast for a day, just to give her some variation, or is switching back and forth not good?

I feed many different brands, sometimes all mixed together and I haven't had a cat bothered by a sudden change.

I actually think cats SHOULD have their food switched around regularly. Mine get something different at every meal. If you have a cat with a more sensitive digestive tract, then maybe do a slower switch, and possibly add some probiotics to the food.

I wasn't sure if using different brands would upset her stomach. Now that I know she will be okay, I will give her the Wellness, and every two or three day switch to Fancy Feast. She only weight 6-7 lbs, so I didn't want to take a chance. Thanks for the advice.
