When my Vinnie needed antibiotics after his tooth extraction,it took 2 of us to get him to take it.
Luckily it came in a very small capsule,easily swallowed with no taste.
I would hold Vinnie and cuddle him,hubby would open his mouth and pop it in,keep his mouth closed and massage his throat until he swallowed.
I agree you and Muffy need some better days from now on
