I'm proud of him, too! When he first came, he was just so enthralled at being able to run freely around the yards, which were much bigger than in his original home--that was all he'd do: run, run, run. He'd come over, check in for 2 or 3 seconds at a crack, then he'd be off running again.
But slowly, he's lengthened out his check in time and started sticking around for Lili's 'obedience' training...and now,
he's the one bugging me to start an obedience session and he's mastered almost everything Lili knows. (Which means I'll have to get creative and find new 'tasks' to train them in this summer!
I hate having to be creative
) He's come a really long way!
