You know, I tried that a few years back when the vet I worked for wanted me to try making some homemade dog treats. One of the ones I experimented with called for pureed liver, which I couldn't find in the store, so I bought some calf liver and tried to puree it in my blender. It burned out the motor! Liver is such a tough, fibrous meat that it bound up the blades.
