First off welcome to the forum Julie 2014!

My first instinct would be to call the vet or vet tech and ask them directly about this situation and if it might be possibly related to the mite medication.

Sorry I can't be of more help but you are describing some very general symptoms that can be due to many things (I.e dust in an area of the house, or the cat rubbing against something that makes it sneeze).
