I know you don't want to hear this but if you really want to help your dog this is the easiest and healthiest way because I don't think you are going to solve your problems with kibble. Wet food, or at least one meal of wet/raw a day.
Moisture is required to keep the kidneys and bladder flushed, and I don't care what anybody says, a tongue is not efficient for water intake. Try eating crackers all day, then lick water from a bowl
. Dogs are meant to eat moisture ladened food, that is about 80% moisture. They don't have cups they can drink from to get a lot of water.
So now that I have said what you didn't want to hear, I hope you do give it some thought about the efficiency of licking up water
and reconsider to even a partial wet/raw diet.
