Katherine - the average weight of a Great Dane is between 130 and 150 pounds. In order for a lab to weigh 400 pounds it would have to be the size of a shetland pony or a large adult male black bear.

Kigndano - your dog is most likely a purebed but if you got him from a pet store, you can guarantee that he doesn't come close to meeting the breed standard.
