Badger, you must be thinking of amitriptyline. I take that but it doesn't seem to do much. Chlortriplon is an allergy med. The pk's are the only thing that allows me to function. Seventeen years, tests, different meds, incredable pain etc. The fibromyalgia is just the newest addition to the mix. Ten years of that time was spent trying to find something that worked and finding out the exact cause of the pain. After that everything was under control, until a year ago when I began to experience many symptoms of the fm. The pain I was used to but being tired all the time is very hard to deal with.
