So sorry you're having to deal with this, Kittydollfriend. There's nothing more stressful than not being able to get a diagnosis.
All I can think of to suggest is trying a 'cat-only' vet or a veterinary teaching hospital if there's one at a local university near you. It might be a little more pricey, but we've had very good luck with specialists at the VTH when diagnoses have been hard in coming. They see so many more difficult cases than regular vets...
