I never even thought, but that may be the issue. I thought the cold might have made them fussy so I left one can out of the fridge last night wrapped in aluminum foil. Unfortunately, the youngest didn't eat it this morning - so maybe it lost it's freshness?. The oldest cat seems to like it no matter what - cold or warm. The youngest seems to need it to be canned fresh
