I know Mafiaprincess...that's the problem. It gets louder & louder as you turn the screw.
I got to thinkin that if you blew really hard into the end that it would go silent but that just gave it an even more ear piercing sound!
I'm at the point where I'll just use my fingers or drag out the good old fashion plastic referee whistle.
