I sit on a 3-person town board--non-partisan positions. In a town with 80 residents.   Basically, we're business managers. I leave the hot air to the arm-chair politicians hanging out at the tavern!

All Canadians pay taxes. Every time we buy something at the store we pay taxes, provinces get some and federal gets the other.
