Both dogs were Presa canario for sure. I also did some research on this particular dog I found out that they originate from the cannary islands,they are a cross between a farm dog and a bull mastiff. It also says that these dogs were bred for the sole purpose of fighting and or guardian dogs.They look very vicious but I'm sure as anyone knows (especially if you own a dog known for i'ts breed) if these dogs are brought up with love & compasion they can turn out to be the best dog you ever owned. I strongly believe that those two people wanted those dogs to be fighters,to be mean and they wanted people to be afraid of them and look where it got them. I feel so bad for what happened to that poor woman it wasnt her fault,but it wasn't the allthe dogs fault either. Those people knew what they had and if they really cared about those dogs why did they have them cooped up in a tiny apt all day.
