Just wondering if anyone has a cat that will go into another room, all by herself, and just sit and cry/meow. Katie does that quite a bit. She sometimes does it just after sitting with one of us, or looking out the window, etc. Then she goes into the kitchen by herself and cries. When we go check on her, she seems fine. We can pet her, pick her up, bring her back (sometimes) but she will go back in there again and cry.

I have seen the other quads go check on her when she does this, and they try to get her to play (or just look at her like she is nuts) and often she will play. Other times she just sits or lies there, and cries. Fortunately, this doesn't happen every day, but I am just wondering why she does it.

I don't think she is hurting or anything, because when she is in the same room with us she doesn't ever cry like that.
