My cats prefer Nature's Variety, Instinct over other brands, but most are too high in phosphorus for any kitty going into renal failure. Transitioning a kitty from kibble to raw would be very difficult unless you transition them to quality wet in between the two.

Wellness, grain free (canned of course), chicken and turkey have low phosphorus, you can give those ones a try.


One thing that worked with Jasper to get him to eat raw, was to put a pin prick amount of raw in his favourite kibble and slowly increase it until there was more raw than kibble.
