At our local Global, there are donation boxes for local rescues set out in the store for people to donate food. The only thing is, though, you can't control the quality of food that goes into the box. Most people donate kibble, I donate large cans of Felidae that they can mix with the kibble so the kitties are getting some moisture. Not worried about the bacteria, these kitties are feral (TNR program) and are starving so the food is gone in minutes.
