I know this thread is old, but I have to know if there are any updates. I came across it while googling for advice to get my 19 year old cat to start eating/drinking again and ...wow.
This guy should seriously be charged with animal abuse, plain and simple. The repeated descriptions of "care", unnecessary surgery, disregard to the appropriate procedures/drugs/animals well being. Disgusting. Whatever happened with PETA? (You would think PETA would focus some of their efforts on lobbying to improving animal healthcare regulation.. if they are they are pretty quiet about it.)
Is this vet board that turned down the case the vet board for whatever group he is a part of, or the group that he claimed to be part of but isn't?
I hope he pleads guilty. A guy like this cannot get away by having his liability insurance paying you a settlement. He needs this on his record so hopefully other pets won't be treated poorly for profit.
I hope Simba is doing well. An absolutely precious cat.
