My very first cat, Samantha, declawed as a kitten, never re-vaccinated after her adoption by us at about age 1, near-fatally poisoned after ingesting powdered Spic and Span, recovering and going on quite happily demanding her dry MeowMix 'till the very end.......enjoyed life into her early 20's, when an oral cancer took her away.
I knew that another member, who's been MIA for a few years now (and whose presence I very much miss) had an elderly cat when she was last 'around'....so, I went looking -
