I never heard that these dogs were any other breed. If I remember correctly, the first time I heard the story on the news it said that the dogs were Presa's.
I didn't know anything about the breed then, and I only know slightly more now. I do know that these are not dogs to be taken lightly and I, personally, would never own one.
