Sometimes we just drive around aimlessly and find interesting stuff. That's the best way IMO (if you have some extra money on hand, otherwise you might end up stranded

Not becoming a vet. It's nearly impossible to get into a veterinarian program, and I don't think I'd be confident enough to work on people's pets
. Not to mention I'd probably go broke treating a bunch of animals for free.
