Hello,
I just caught a pet mouse, however it was injured in the capture. I accidentally squished one of it's paws with a ruler when I was trying to get it out from beneath a shelf
.
Looks like there's a cut where I injured it's front paw, it bled for a short period (very little, about as much blood as a light paper cut).
I've placed him in a box with food (peanut butter and pigeon feed), water, and shredded paper towels for now.
I have a couple questions
1) When and how do I know this mouse will be ready to be released? (every time I go to observe it, it just stands very still)
2) How often do I clean it's box?
3) Is there anything I can do to expedite the healing process?
