Gotta agree that snakes and reptiles are a lot of work, and on top of that not every vet is equipped to deal with them if they become ill. I'd venture into this very carefully and maybe first find a mentor who can show you the ropes (good and bad) before you take anything on. This can be a very $$$$ hobby, plus if you are renting somewhere and have to move are you going to be able to bring a snake? Not in my basement suite you won't
