Am I right in assuming that maybe I'm being a little silly and shouldn't even bother getting some dry food for the long days? I know I can't leave any canned down for the day because he would just eat it all in one sitting. Right now he's eating half a 12oz can in the morning and the rest at night. His last vet check last month had him at about 14lbs and the vet said he looked really good.

After some of the suggestions I'm starting to wonder if I'm just being a little bit of a worry wort for nothing. He's just my pal and as it is I hate the thought of him being home alone for so long that the last thing I want is for him to go hungry as well.
