Flea combing is GREAT! however, does not always get rid of the problem, sometimes a flea bath is needed, with shampoo and all, to kill everything.
We bathe our cats once a year.

Bathing a cat is not needed!! And I beleive causes great stress and trauma to a cat!! and they do not get used to it!
2 of my cats were flea infested when I got them and Advantage worked just great.
And get a lice comb from any drug store (much cheaper, and works just as good)
