Question HELP!! female shih tzu with very odd behavior

Chloe my 2 year old female shih tzu is acting VERY odd, starting yesterday she has had bursts of energy running from room to room in the house and also hiding... right now she is laying in a laundry basket in the laundry room in the opposite side of the house. Earlier today and yesterday she found a little spot between the couch and the end table in the living room. A little history about Chloe, a year ago I was told that she had seperation anxiety, normally she has to go anywhere and everywhere with me (even the bathroom) and while I was living in northern Texas I was working 80+ hours a week. Needless to say I had to quit my job and find a new one. While she had the seperation anxiety she was staying in corners of rooms and ripping her fur out. (it all had grown back in for the most part but she is doing it again... but this time I am at home almost all day, I hardly leave the house.) Chloe and Luke had a litter of puppies born February 28th of this year, the puppies are now almost 8 weeks old and are supposed to go to their new homes this coming tuesday. They just weaned about a week and a half ago give or take a few days. Lately she has been kinda warm I am about to go check her temperature and see if she is feverish. I have absolutely no clue what is going on with her!! This is not like her at all, normally she is a very happy go lucky dog and is always right beside me on the arm of the couch or chair watching tv with me. it is really starting to worry me someone please tell me if you have any ideas why she might behave this way so suddenly
