Carolyn, I'm a female from Canada and I have a cat-Hank and a dog-Monty (although Monty has passed, he is still my dog). But I regularly have 3 other dogs and a cat in my life. The dogs are Duke, Chimo and Charlie. The cat is Little Devil.
And I am allergic to the cats. And Duke. But that doesn't matter to me....what's a few hives, swollen eyes, swollen skin(when scratched) and sneezing compared to unconditional love??
Certain animals affect me more than others but I love them all the same.
