help with feeding cat suspected of IBD
I have just brought home a wonderful cat suspected to have IBD. i amlooking go switch her hypoallergenic medi-cal diet with a home cooked diet instead. i have found lots of info for dogs but not so much for cats and am not really sure where to start...? what would be an appropriate meal for this girl? she is currently on cortisone and will be starting tylosin when my order arrives at the beginning of the week.

I too am interested in this! I have been feeding my cats home cooked with varied success, but now my kitty is sick, I really would like to do whatever I can to make him healthy.

Not sure what you mean by "home cooked", but cats get their essential nutrients with raw meat/bones/organs. If you are cooking their food, then you will need to add supplements including, but not limited to taurine & Vit A.
