The New Guy

1 Attachment(s)
The New Guy has started to spend short periods outside the bathroom, sometimes really short if he runs into trouble. On the whole, though, I'm amazed. He was sitting next to Badger this morning and suddenly leapt on him and started to bite him on the neck. I don't think he did any harm - Badger froze - and I was right there, so I pried him off within seconds. It wasn't that scary, but enough for him to go directly to lockdown

Just to see him eating twice the amount he got outside before it froze to the bowl, it feels like the right decision to bring him inside sooner rather than later.

Aw another cutie! :lovestruck: Maybe he was just testing the waters... to see if badger was the boss?

He is such a character, and so brave! When I open the bathroom door, he charges out into the apartment - tonight he was eating from Badger's bowl - Badger sitting by patiently until I intervened. A couple of the other cats give him trouble, but nothing too serious and he knows when it's time to bow out for his own self-preservation. We've got a ways to go yet.

Sounds like he is making himself at home quickly. :thumbs up
So have you found a name for him yet? Someone mentioned (I think) that he looked like the cat on Sabrina, the teenage witch. That kitty's name was Salem Saberhagen. Quite a mouthful for a little fella' I think.
I think you will find an appropriate name for him soon. :highfive:

He is so cute, the look in his eyes kind of reminds me of Rupert, so glad he found you!

How bout Rudiger? (If I ever have a son I want to use that! I like the emphasis on the ger...grrrrr! We tried to get my brother to use that or Van on my Nephew... but they went more conventional)
