Any other Goat owners here?
I recently added a small group of Goats to my 'pack'. :)
As my property has not been grazed for a few years i decided to get a few goats to help keep the bush at bay! Goats are awesome land clearers and quite the social animals as well. The Herd! I had a goat once, for a very short time. LOL. Too feral for me. Now I've got Dorper sheep which have so many goat-like tendencies that I think they must have goat there somewhere in their pedigree. Some have big droopy ears, hair instead of fleece in some parts, they eat anything, they love climbing, they're a bit feral too.
I give you just a couple of years till your flock is this size. :D They're pretty goats and your kids are going to be too adorable to part with. That's assuming you'd breed with them of course. Love the goat on the left. |
Cute goats, DarKevs!! :lovestruck: I love goats' personalities! :D

Goats are great pets and good at bush clearing. They also like to eat flowers and veggie gardens ;-)
Mine are 2 Nubian siblings that I have had for 8 years. The male was castrated as a youngster so he is safe to keep with his sister. |
