Is that a standard poodle? How does she get along with the pitties?

Yep he's a standard poodle. My dogs wanted to get to know him but Tibet's energy is a little to hyper for my dogs. He kept wanting to jump on Abby, and so as it went it was a weekend of crate and rotate. I took him for a lot of walks, one that was 6kish to try and wear him out a bit, but like the enegizer bunny he just kept going and going and going... He was fun tho, real sweet dog, wonderful personality, he just doesn't have a lot of manners when it comes to other dogs. |
Have you seen them being shown, LMPG? The youngsters can hardly keep 1 foot on the ground at any given time. LOL. They cavort, rearing and jumping like a horse. I love the head tilted standing shot.

He's a real cutie, LMPG! Too bad about the manners, though... Such a lovely, leggy profile he has! Very graceful.

What a cutie pie:flirt: We had an apricot standard poodle named Taffy when I was a kid...brings back memories :goodvibes:

I have seen them being shown, I think they are such regal looking dogs. I've always wanted one, but if had my choice I would want a black one. I don't see many standard poodles around anymore, was thinking that maybe one day I might add one to my pack, but they rarely if ever show up in shelters or rescues,so I may be out of luck |
Now that doesn't look like the "normal" breed of dog that I see in pics from you .

:cloud9::cloud9:[/QUOTE] Lmao no kidding eh! Funny story, well not really but....I walked Tibet through the neighborhood, down around the canal and up along the river. The same walk I take my dogs on. Usually, ppl who see me will nod in my direction but won't speak to me, or will totally snub me altogether. I walked Tibet, and ppl that wouldn't give me the time of day suddenly want to talk, all smiles and saying hello. One lady says she watches me walking my dogs around the canal almost every day, yet this was the first time that she ever said hello  |
There is a standad poodle on my street,but I think he's older,a beautiful dog,very well behaved:lovestruck:
The owner walks and runs with him off leash, wich I don't agree with, but so far so good,a very obedient dog. |
That doesn't surprise me, LMPG. LOL. I preferred that at shows or in public people didn't want to rush up and pat my cattle dogs, so much so that when I got my ever so cute Chihuahua puppy the attention we got was overwhelming. I hated it to tell the truth. Not that I'm anti social, to me it just meant that the pup had a hard day, no rest. You'd understand the irony of the situation, cattle dogs must be amenable to handling at shows and Chi's bite more than other dogs according to judges I've spoken to. LOL. Well, maybe that's why they get snappy though?
Are the same people still talking now the ice has been broken? So stupid, isn't it? You are the same person, no matter what's on the end of the leash. |
Beautiful pup!! A tad bit bigger than my little five pound toy. When they are young they have tons of energy. They slow down though. He's a very handsome boy. :cloud9:

Omd, is Tibet ever adorable :lovestruck:.
