You can trim the fur with scissors, be sure someone is holding him still so there's no chance of scissors slipping while he tries to move.

Another good trick is to run a comb through the fur & keep the comb between the cat's skin & the scissors, trim as needed.

Is the poop solid bits or more like diarrhea?

Triming helps a lot, also check if your kitten doesn't have diarrhea just to make sure he's pooping fine :)

Yeah my cats get poop stuck to their bums too, but only when they are unhealthy! When my cat is healthy, the poop does not stick, it's only when there is diarrhea or another issue that it sticks.

You can easily trim the furr, and try and work out why the poop is soft.

I was going to recommend the comb with the trimming also. Just make sure somebody else is holding the kitty so you have two hands to work with. If it's diarrhea on a regular basis a vet trip may be in order.

thank you i'll try all of them is poop is'ent always slimey, most of the time that its stuck i think its due to him not always covering it up. but it will try the trimming
