Hi everyone,
I wonder whether anybody can help me here. I noticed a little polyp on My 2 years old female husky a few weeks ago, now it is getting a little bigger. Please see the attached photos.

Is there anything I can do from my end to get rid of it?

Thank you so much!

Danielle

Hi, Danielle! Welcome to the board to both of you!

Hard to tell with polyps until you know what exactly is causing the growth. A visit to the vet is in order, at least to get a diagnosis. Sometimes the growths resolve on their own, but if it's growing, it's best to get it checked out. And if it is something that has to come off, better to get it done while it's still small.

Please let us know what the vet says--and maybe post a few pics of the rest of your beautiful husky girl? :o

Thank you

Thank you for your message. We now suspect that it could be Viral Papillomas. Just in case, I did book a visit to the vet.

Cheers,
Danielle

Viral Papillomas would be good news. I've seen some evidence that Azithromycin can be effective against oral papillomas in dogs (see Anti biotic treatment for canine oral papilloma?? so the vet visit might be productive for both diagnosis and cure! :goodvibes: Pls keep us posted! And good luck!
