Wow LP, that is awesome :thumbs up. Thanks so much, I will definately add some of these to my reading list.

I am currently reading Merle's Door - frankly I enjoy the dog stories more than the psychological stuff as I have read that in other books. But, before starting the book, I made sure of one thing about Merle - here is to a long and happy life for pups!

What I absolutely loved about Merle's Door (I promise I won't give it all away SnowDancer :D) is that it does contain a lot of info and opinions about training methods (many other authors are quoted in the book) as well as Kerasote's views of the human/dog relationship.
It got me thinking about the 'artificial' lives that some provide their dogs with vs the lives they would lead if permitted to make more of their own choices. What I forgot to add to the original list (I found it this morning in Lucky's backpack :o): THE ROSETTA BONE; THE KEY TO COMMUNICATION BETWEEN HUMANS AND CANINES by Cheryl S. Smith |
The ones I ordered are here already today :thumbs up and I've already started reading them. I planned on reading them on our summer holiday but now I guess I'll just have to order some more for that :D. Hmmm, I need $39 worth to qualify for the Chapters free shipping, which ones to choose .
