I've tried products but none seem to get the smell of pee 100% out of the carpet - help!

Here's a general guideline, I'll let others provide their actual products.

Would it be for cats or dogs or some other critter?

1 cup of water + 1/4 cup of white vinegar + 1/4 cup isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol - mix together in a spray bottle, spray the area & wipe up with paper towel then spray the area again.

Our male dog had an issue where he peed in the house for a while after being housetrained and we used an enzyme spray that broke down the urine. He couldn't smell it so he wouldn't pee there again which was a big help. I think the brand was Nature's Miracle if I remember correctly. But these ideas should help as well: https://www.wikihow.com/Get-Dog-Urine-Smell-out-of-Carpets

I used ordinary baking soda, it perfectly absorbs the smell. You can also try diluting vinegar with water and wipe this place. The smell of vinegar quickly disappears.

you can check Pinterest, there are lots of Pins with various recipes and products, and just test what works out in your situation. I also came across online trainings created by experts on how to stop your cat peeing (if you are a cat owner)
