Lost Cat in Milton Ontario

Hello,

On Monday June 4th our indoor cat Caramilk escaped. He is a 4 year old brown tabby with green eyes and a red collar. We live around Derry and Thompson. If anyone has seen him please email me at cat_14@hotmail.com or call 416-846-0032. Thank you so much. We all miss him dearly.

Hello,

Here are some photos of my baby. He is a cuddler and wraps his arms around you. Please phone me if you see him!

Hi Melissa!
Sorry to hear about Caramilk. There are a few things you can do. Call all shelters in the area and all vets. Someone might have seen him or brought him in and called these places. Make some posters with his pictures, and place them around town. Also, for a small fee, take these posters to your local post office and the post man will deliver them with the regular mail so the word will get out there. Hope you find your Caramilk! Let us know.

If she has a facebook account she should post this there too. Would tweeting this help too? I do not have a cell phone and know nothing about tweeting.

If you can put his litterbox and/or a worn but unwashed t shirt or pair of smelly shoes of yours out on the deck this may help lead him home :fingerscr

Go around the neighbourhood at dusk/dawn calling him, rattling a treat container or tap a spoon on his dish or tin of food. Bring a flashlight to pick up the shine off his eyes from under cars/decks/bushes or up trees.

If you can poster the neighbourhood, plus leave one w/ local businesses, schools, pet supply stores, grocery stores, bus stops, vets & all animal shelters in the area that will help garner attention that this kitty has a home who wants him back

Please visit the animal shelters in person often times the shelters are understaffed/over worked with so many animals/requests etc they may not have the time to personally look into each phone call or an emergency/something comes up in the meantime & the request gets overlooked.

Going in person means you can visit & identify the cat right away, if an animal comes in terrified it may act out of character & be labeled as sick or a feral and not be placed with the general population please ask to see these areas as well.

Good luck :goodvibes: & :fingerscr
