Canned cat food question

As some of you may know, we adopted a senior Seal Point Siamese. She is 10 yrs and has been eating pretty good for the past 3 and half weeks that she has been with us and I would like to give her some wet food. I tried Holistic blend but she wouldn't even smell it. My other 2 cats will eat any type of wet food, but I would like to know opinions on a good quality brand food. They all eat Holistic Blend dry food and love it. Seeing that she is older I would really appreciate some advice.

Thanks:D

To whet the appetite of an older cat, I would try something like Fancy Feast. Most cats love it! Try the pate ones, not the ones in sauce or gravy.

I'm feeding my cats Holistic Eagle Pack food and one of my cats is 14 yrs old. I've seen some posts on this forum where some people don't like Eagle Pack but maybe there's two different types: holistic and regular. I've checked my holistic cat food and there's nothing but good ingredients in there (no corn). I've heard Wellness is very good but it's hard to find a seller close by that sells it.

I feed my cats Wellness canned. They inhale it... my cats aren't overly picky though, especially my older one, she'll eat anything I offer her.

ok, it seems I have a very picky siamese princess!:p I have tried Fancy Feast Lucky and she sniffed it and walked away. Of course my male wolfed down all three cats wet food. He'll eat anything! I tried Holistic wet food and she wouldn't eat that either. Any other suggestions?

Try Fromm's, it was a big hit at our place.

Thanks, I found a retailer who sells this, so I will give it a try.:) Is there a certain flavour you bought or do they like them all?

My sister's cat is very finicky but really likes Wellness so if nothing else works you might want to give it a shot! They have a list of where to buy there product on their web site: http://www.oldmotherhubbard.com/locator/locator_form.asp

Here is a pet food store in Brockville that sells Wellness if you're interested:

Thanks so much Kayla, I'll buy one of each and let her decide.:D

All the places I know that sell Wellness always give away free samples if you ask, and usually free samples of other stuff too so you could do a big taste testing night and see what your kitty likes.

Thanks, I'll definately do that!:D
