Til we meet again my sweet boy!
 

Winston to his last difficult breath just a short while ago. While I am sad and heart broken I can tell you he went rather peacefully. He went to the bridge with visions of his Mom & Dad holding him and showering him with kisses! It gives me some peace to know the suffering has ended but now the hard part is moving forward.

I took this picture of Winston on Sunday and it is a good memory for me! I thought I would share it with you all and this poem that seemed so appropriate.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the prayers and kindness as I am sure they helped my boy on his journey.

I, along with Chris, Rainbow, and many others who can no longer pass along their condolences "in person" would like you to know how sad we are at Winston's passing. He was a wonderful dog. Rest in peace big boy. Find a big bone and a great shade tree and have at it.

I'm so sorry to hear about Winston :( He was a beautiful dog and I can tell how much you loved him. He'll always live on in your heart and I'm sure you'll meet again someday. Lots of hugs.

No matter what our differences are I am so happy that we ALL can put them aside for the sake of our pets. We all understand the immense pain it brings to us when these things happen and it is nice to see us all stand together!

Although my heart is heavy tonight I feel it was right and in a strange way I feel a little bit of peace.

So sorry to hear about Winston. i don't know what to say, its the hardest thing we have to do for our pets, but is the best choice for them when they are suffering. Run free Winston and play in the water at rainbow bridge with all our pets that have passed before you.:rip::dog::pawprint::pawprint: 's left on our hearts.. :grouphug:to you and your hubby...

I am also weeping as I read this. Winston was very loved and that picture is a wonderful last memory to hold close to your heart.
