Happy Birthday Dazy!!!!
 

Today Dazy turned 4 years old, she is every bit a puppy today as she was the day we brought her home. The last 4 years with her in our family have been amazing, she was such an terror as a puppy, such a little *****! But worth it in every way. She has grown in to such an amazing dog, we love her so much. :lovestruck: She's gentle, hilarious, adventurous, she's a great big sister, and she always seems to know when you need a snuggle. Our house would not be a home without her. I can't believe she's already 4.

To my big beautiful pup...

Aww thanks! She is so cute!! No ice cream (cuz of her IBD) but I did get her 2 x 18 packs of tennis balls (one for her bday and 1 for xmas) and a new Nylabone and a new stuffie. :cloud9:

She sure did!! All 18 of them at once! lol!! I just gave the mesh bag to Lewis and he pulled them out 1 at a time, she waited patiently each time, then he'd throw it right in to her trap, she'd play with it until he'd managed to get the next one out, and repeat....lol...they played for an hour this way. They were both upset when I put them away and said it was bedtime!! lol! I did leave 1 out for her to destroy!! :D

Have you ever given Dazy those Chuck-it balls that have the rubber coating? They last much longer than the ordinary tennis balls. :thumbs up

Hey Rainbow!!! Lew's almost 18 months old, he's soooo big!! lol! They do both go in the house, Dazy goes in after the ball and then Lew traps her. lol! He thinks its hilarious, her - not so much!! lol! She's so good with him, just puts up with it, he's real gentle too, he never climbs on her or pulls her fur. Yes, she has 1 chuck it ball, but doesnt like it nearly as much. What we normally do it play fetch with the balls, she never destroys them unless we let her chew them in the house, out in the field she would never destroy it, we don't allow her to chew them often.

Yes, they are fun to watch together, she's a huge dog but seems to know to be careful around him, she's never knocked him over or taken a treat roughly, he gives her a treat every morning when we leave for work, and then he says..."Dye Dazy Dye"...Dye is Bye...lol...its funny. Then when he's hyper he smacks her butt and says "ditzy ditzy ditzy"..lol...it make her go crazy!! :clown: (its Dazy Dazy Dazy said real fast) And when all is quiet in the truck we can hear BOTH of them panting...lol...he pants and growls and says wuf wuf to her...he really loves her. She has learned to not go too far when he's throwing the ball, it only goes a few feet, so she now just turns around an dhe throws it right in to her open trap, its hilarious. She ALWAYS goes in to his room at bed time to tuck him in, always, if she's outside, he asks for her, if we forget to let her in the room she cries outside his door. He's still in a crib but I imagine once he's in a bed they will bunk together. :cloud9:

Another one?? ARE YOU CRAZY? SERIOUSLY? One is plenty for this always-very-tired-working full time-mama. :p Plus, we are moving in the spring and will be unemployeed.

Actually I was serious when I asked about a new addition but I can see now may not be the best time. :o

I wasnt yelling at you lol, sorry!! :o Im not sure if there will ever be a good time for another one, its alot of work!! lol! Moving to NB to help with Darin's family, his mom has alztimers and so off we go, yup, both of us unemployeed and on ei for now anyways...

Sorry to hear about Darin's mom :( ......that is one sad disease and so thoughtful and caring for you both to do what you;re doing. :angel:
