Question about Cat Food for an older cat

I have a 19 and a half year old cat. He appears to be healthy, such as he still walks, has regular bowel routines, drink a ton of water a day, meows, follows us, it's like he is younger than 19, but in the past week we have noticed that he is not eating as much food as he normally does, we think that it may be a problem with a weakened jaw, as his main problem appears to be picking up the wet food off out of the dish. His drinking is perfectly normal. I should mention that as per vet suggestion he is eating the meat baby foods, as well as some regular canned food. The vet suggested to try some adding water to some of the food to make it even softer so he could lap it up, but being picky this has not worked for him. Does anyone know of some types of liquid food that on can give a cat who has problems picking up food?
Thanks,
Kristen

I don't know of any commercial cat foods in liquid form, but couldn't you buy canned food and food process it till it's puree?

Merrick makes crazy canned food that might be really tasty even after being pureed adding water...

Maybe try a little carton of cat milk mixed with the food instead of water. He might like it a little more. Whiskas makes catmilk, and you can usually find it on the shelf with the other catfoods.
